It was thrilling to watch the exciting display of fireworks, streamers shooting through the air, and release of balloons after the National Anthem on Thursday, April 8, 1999. The Giants defeated the San Diego Padres 12-4. Shawn Estes got the win and Stan Spencer took the loss.
