This was an amazing experience watching the water being blown in different directions by a strong wind at Yosemite National Park last year in July. I could have spent the entire day watching this amazing water fall as the flow of water was different for each passing moment. At times it seemed to almost stop flowing and then it would come down in a heavy wave. Bridalveil Fall is 617 ft high.
I photographed this event on a Canon EOS 7D MKII with a 100-400mm zoom lens. The lens was set at 148 mm and the exposure was f/9, 1/800 sec with the ISO at 320.
