- We could not ask for better weather on Fuji Photo Day at Candlestick Park on Saturday, May 14, 1988. The SF Giants played the NY Mets that day and won a close game, 3-2. Giants great broadcaster and pitcher, Mike Krukow, pitched that game and got the victory over Ron Darling of the Mets.
- Back in 1988, the SF Giants did not open up the Right Field Pavilion area yet to fans. I believe they opened up this section for fans the following year, 1989, as I have pictures of fans sitting in that area.
- Robby Thompson (2) and Will Clark (1) provided the 3 RBI’s for the win.
