Opening Day at Candlestick Park was always extra exciting as the stadium was full and sold out for that game. During each regular season, Candlestick Park only sold out a few times and it was usually for a big weekend Dodgers series.
This Opening Day game was the SF Giants vs the Florida Marlins on April 12, 1993. This was the Marlin’s first year in the Major Leagues as an expansion team. The Giants won the game 4-3. This was a view of the upper box seat area behind home plate.
