NN5A2742 CopyI have never seen a waterfall flow like this before.  It was a windy day in Yosemite National Park Valley a year ago when I took this photograph.  The water came down in amazing waves.  The waves reminded me of comets streaking thru the sky.  See the little dot at the top of the picture which is a bird flying by.  Click on the picture to see the bird soaring in the blue sky.  The spray of water almost looked like snow. The faster shutter speed (1/1250 sec) caught the detail of the fine drops falling.

NN5A3019 CopyThis was an amazing experience watching the water being blown in different directions by a strong wind at Yosemite National Park last year in July.  I could have spent the entire day watching this amazing water fall as the flow of water was different for each passing moment.  At times it seemed to almost stop flowing and then it would come down in a heavy wave.  Bridalveil Fall is 617 ft high.

I photographed this event on a Canon EOS 7D MKII with a 100-400mm zoom lens.  The lens was set at 148 mm and the exposure was f/9, 1/800 sec with the ISO at 320.

NN5A2962 CopyThis is a view of Clouds Rest from Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park.  The photograph was taken last week at around 8:10pm and the sun was setting fast.  The wonderful warm colored light was provided by the setting sun.  If you look closely at the top of the ridge, you could see people watching the sunset from Clouds Rest.  I used a Canon EOS 7D MKII with a 100-400mm zoom lens.  The lens was set at 400mm and the exposure was at f/8, 1/500 sec, and the ISO was 800.

NN5A2514 CopyPhotographed later in the afternoon with the wind blowing the water to the left.  The afternoon shadows were approaching the waterfall so I had to shoot fast.  I photographed using my Canon EOS 7D MKII with a 100-400mm lens.  The lens was zoomed to 200mm at f/8 at 1/640 sec with a ISO of 200.  The shot was hand held as I did not have my tripod.  It was nice to see the water flowing and changing constantly with the wind gusts.

NN5A2204 CopyHere is a a close-up view of Upper Yosemite Fall taken with a Canon EOS 7D MKII using a 100-400mm zoom lens.  I took this photograph on the Yosemite Falls trail last week while visiting Yosemite.  I had the lens set at 400mm and took a lot of pictures of the water flowing down the mountain side.  I ended up taking a few hundred pictures between 100mm and 400mm and all the pictures looked different because of the flow of the water and the wind blowing the water.  It was a very fascinating experience seeing the water moving and constantly changing.

NN5A0521 CopySF Giants vs the Arizona D-Backs on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.  I took the photograph with my trusty Canon EOS 7D MKII camera using a EF 8-15mm Fisheye ultra wide angle lens.  I miss Candlestick Park but AT&T Park is a dream come true for Giants fans.

NN5A0323 CopyThe photograph was taken on 4/20/16 with the SF Giants playing the Arizona D-Backs. This was a disappointing game where the SF Giants lost 2-1.

We arrived early at AT&T Park and went to the view reserve seats on the top edge of the stadium by the water.  This is where this shot was taken with a Canon EF 8-15mm Fisheye ultra wide angle lens.  I used a Canon EOS 7D MKII camera.

I went roaming around the stadium taking photographs like I did when I would go to games at Candlestick Park.  I will be sharing more of my “Stadium Art” photographs of AT&T Park in the future.
